Founded in 1983, Upton Angling Club maintains and controls a number of pools in the Chester Zoo area. Also affiliated to the Dee Anglers Association, Upton AC membership offers a number of different lengths of the River Dee around Farndon.

Membership runs from April to April and costs are currently as follows:

SENIOR £21.50 (a one off joining fee of £5.00 is payable when first joining)

JUNIOR, OAP & CONCESSION £7.50 (a one off joining fee of £2.50 is payable when first joining)
